Another way to look at it is that you can either cater your affair with the great food served daily at the trendy Zax, or work with Jeffrey to customize it to your heart's delight. After all, he's been comfortable in a kitchen since he was fifteen years old and has been a formal chef for over 15 years. Zax' menu is mostly American but Jeffrey loves to take a turn with Mexican, Mediterranean, vegetarian, or just about any other cuisine. Choosing the menu is just the beginning, though, because Zax catering will truly offer full range, "soup to nuts" service. You can pick a place or Jeffrey will find the right one for you; he will consult with you for the right menu, from cocktails and wine or beer to appetizers through main courses and dessert. Jeffrey can help you choose and procure everything from silverware to flowers to decorations to theme, and bring along the music as well. Of course if you have already made all of those arrangements, Chef Lynd is happy to just work on the food. Size doesn't matter.Zax has catered parties for eight people as well as large wedding receptions and custom events for the Austin Museum of Modern Art. Each year they cater the Austin American-Statesman parking lot buffet for the Freescale Marathon. Working with Zax is a snap, too.
