FoodHawk Overview:
At Central Market's original location on N. Lamar, a wide range of culinary classes includes demonstration, hands-on and interactive classes for both cuisine and wine. They are led by Central Market chefs, well known Austin area and out of town chefs. Local chefs for the summer schedule included Foo Swasdee, Chef/Owner, Satay Restaurant , Jeff Blank, Chef/Owner, Hudson's on the Bend and Alma Alcocer, Executive Chef, Jeffrey's Restaurant.

All classes are held at Central Market on the second floor. Unless otherwise noted, class participants must be 18 or older. Classes include recipes, demonstrations and sample tastings. Most evening classes include wine tastings. Please limit your consumption to items served in class. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. If classes are full, your name will be added to our waiting list. To avoid being charged the full price of the class, cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance. Menus are subject to change at the chef's discretion.
