Picture this: you've never heard of a "personal farmer," let alone had one. Then you learn about Local Harvest, an organic vegetable form in Webberville, 15 miles away from the Texas Capitol. From March to October Local Harvest becomes the "personal farmer" for a growing number of lucky Central Texans, through farmers' markets, an always full subscription service and right off the farm in Webberville. Although they serve a few restaurants and groceries, Local Harvest is in business to make individual consumers happy...and they now have a waiting list for weekly baskets of fresh, high quality produce. Since it's now a 2-year wait to get on the direct list...they call you a share holder...they recommend that you frequent the downtown and Westlake farmers' markets. We recommend that very same thing.
