If you're one of the masses of people who descend on the capitol while the legislature is in session, or a proud Texan taking in the capitol area sights anytime, you'll be happy to know that this underground oasis is in place for you to rest your feet and pick up a quick breakfast or lunch. You can begin with a cup of Starbucks at 7 a.m. and close with another at 6 Monday through Thursday or 5 on  Friday. Breakfast tacos and homemade biscuits are hits in the morning. Lunch features multiple food stations that serve up hot meals with meat and veggie choices, a variety of tacos, deli selections  and desserts like banana pudding and pecan pie. An ice cream sundae bar is a great Friday treat. If you want to really catch your representatives, senators and lobbyists in action, don't miss the Capitol Grill.
