Located conveniently at 2222 and the entrance to Jester Estates, Bellagio is a welcome formal Italian eatery for the increasing hordes of Austinites building and moving west of the city. The spacious,  classic and beautifully decorated European interior belies its strip mall location, and diners can count on a quiet, comfortable meal. The feel is informal, and many neighborhood "regulars" call the  wait staff by first names. Chef Steven Lococano offers his twist on a wide variety of traditional Italian beef, pork, chicken, seafood and pasta dishes, and always has a few "specials" to look out for. A popular Happy Hour on the patio or in the bar features free calamari from 5:30 to 7:30 most days. Be warned: the servings are more than ample, and you will have plenty of food to take home.
