The same folks who opened this eatery's popular Brodie Lane cousin in 2003 have now launched a tremendously popular West Lynn counterpart that is fast becoming the "go to" restaurant for much of Clarksville, Old Enfield and Pemberton Heights. While the convenient parking lot is usually filled, a large number of folks and families are walking from their homes and offices. The quaint retro bistro  features a casual atmosphere with polite, friendly counter and table service, and a simple, well executed menu. Breakfast is a real hit, featuring eggs every kind of way along with delicious wraps,  quiches and kids dishes. The rest of the day diners can choose from a wide array of soups such as homemade turkey chili, salads such as the hot shrimp with baby spinach or Italian antipasta, then feast on burgers, gourmet sandwiches (the fried fish is to die for), or heartier dishes such as chipotle-apricot glazed pork chops or blackened tilapia. Any meal will be enhanced by one of Galaxy's special sides, like the sweet potato fries, or a dessert like baklava or créme brulee. Offering healthy, tasty, fun fare for the entire family, Galaxy is a welcome addition to Central Austin.
