Close your eyes, think 1959, hamburgers, fries, milk shake. Now open your eyes; it's Hill-Bert's and they've made time stand still. If happiness begins with a happy stomach, Hill-Bert's is making everyone happy-kids, teens, mama and papas, grand mamas and papas, well you get the picture. It's especially heaven for anyone who remembers the great burger joints in the '50s and '60s.the chili burger with onions is a classic, but of course so are the other burgers and 'dogs. Here's a tip: if you crave good old Southern ice tea, theirs is large and tasty, and a "go" cup will last the rest of the day. Hill-Bert's takes credit cards if the tab is over $5, and they deliver from the main location at 3303 Lamar and from Hill-Bert's Burgers Too at 5340 Cameron Road.
