If you believe as we do that you're better off eating and drinking way too much if you can justify the gluttony by engaging in great people and water craft watching, then Iguana Grill is one of your best bets in Central Texas. Situated high above Lake Travis on Hwy. 620, the grill offers dependable Tex-Mex fare, along with a full bar featuring great margaritas and ice cold domestic or Mexican beer. Unless you live near the lake it's a bit of a trip for Austinites, but once you're there, you'll enjoy wonderful views, catch boats of all types and sizes zooming by, and share your dining experience with boaters who can park and walk up. So relax and enjoy your libation, along with queso, fajitas, or fresh seafood, and make sure you get schedules for live music and other Iguana Grill happenings.
