Since 1976, The Kitchen Door on Far West has been a fixture in the Northwest Hills neighborhoods, serving tasty breakfast and lunch foods and providing one stop shopping for gifts, cards and packaged  food brands. There are cinnamon rolls, kolaches, muffins, fruit salad and croissants for breakfast; and soups, salads, sandwiches and a special daily hot meal for lunch. The desserts are unique and wonderful: just try the sand tarts or the volcano chocolate, a mound of cake filled with chocolate that "explodes" after a few seconds in the microwave. It's a delight for kids of all ages. A nice and unusual selection of branded food products and a wide assortment of gifts make The Kitchen Door a great venue for last minute gift shopping or home meal replacement.
