Situated conveniently near MoPac on the main boulevard to Lake Austin, Magnolia Café is a magnet for business people, the urban and trendy, and friends and families across Central Austin from early morning to late night. The eatery has the kind of casual hipness that makes everyone feel at ease. Breakfast dishes include eggs any kind of way, the usual meats and sides and wonderful pancakes. The lunch to late night menu is decidedly "American comfort," featuring chicken fried dishes, salads, sandwiches and burgers, and an assortment of veggies. Baked goods and sweets are always a hit at any meal, and the coffee is some of the best in town. If you are an Austinite "in the know" or just want to pass as one, Magnolia Café is the place to go.
