NoRTH has become one of the best dining destinations in an ever expanding Domain that many think will become Austin's second downtown. It is the first Austin location for Fox Restaurant Concepts, an  award winning group that features a variety of theme eateries in Texas, Arizona, Colorado and Kansas; the rumor is that a second Fox concept is planned for the Domain. We would classify the menu as "comfortable, relatively healthy Italian;” the ambience is open and friendly and captures Central Texas' sunny climate with floor to ceiling glass windows that can slide open to an inviting patio. The cuisine is some traditional, some eclectic: a prosciutto, fig and goat cheese pizza; a "not your typical” chicken lasagna that features loosely layered pasta with delicious fillings; a "short rib” Osso Bucco. The food is tasty, however, and the pastas and pizzas are as consistently good as any in the city. Add a wine list that is well selected and affordable, and hungry Domain shoppers and residents will find NoRTH a welcome respite.
