The Dallas Morning News says Rose Hill Manor is "unlike anything else in .Fredericksburg;" Gourmet Magazine says it "offers the finest combination of food and lodging." If that sounds like a lot to live up to, it is. But Rose Hill offers a selection of delightful bed and breakfast rooms and sunny, glass enclosed dining rooms that will lure locals and visiting patrons again and again. Fredericksburg has become its own huge draw for tourists and shoppers, and Rose Hill is one of those little jewels that keeps 'em coming. The menu changes almost daily as seasons and the availability of fresh produce and meats change. However, typically a day's fare will include gourmet starters like lobster bisque, tournedos of beef and pan-seared crab cakes. Entrees will run the gamut from St. Augustine Florida grouper to Australian lamb loin to Maple Leaf duck breast, and can be complimented by a fine wine list. Always save room for dessert, because you can't pas up the lime-blackberry soufflé with lemon ice cream or the white chocolate bourbon bread pudding. Enjoy.
