Named after the rich coastal grass that has fed the best beef in Texas for nearly 200 years, Saltgrass Steak House has been established as a great dining option in its North Austin and Round Rock neighborhoods. Part of the fast growing Landry's restaurant chain, Saltgrass serves certified Angus beef (the best in the world), and homemakes its bread, soups and desserts fresh daily. In addition to those soups and salads, an array of "lone" starters includes jumbo jalapenos and shrimp wrapped in bacon; and lunch sandwiches and burgers are also popular. You can bet the steaks are great, and other  dinner entrees include chicken, shrimp and salmon, along with ranch hand favorites like chicken fried steak and bar-b-q baby back ribs. Kids are welcome and their own menu includes smaller portions of  "grown up" food as well as pizza and corn dogs.
