Making a surprising find in a non-descript south 1st strip mall, patrons will not be put off by Seoul Restaurant's humble façade. It hides a gem where Korean favorites complement traditional sushi offerings spiced up with Texas-inspired flavor. Just north of William Cannon, the family owned and operated establishment has made a name for itself throughout the city, both for its food and its raucous  Monday night tradition of Sushi Karaoke (led by its affable and eccentric owner, DK). A young crowd of revelers is delighted by DK's decidedly adult antics and free sake bombs for brave karaoke singers. Except for those Monday happenings, diners will discover a quiet and romantic space perfect for dates or intimate gatherings, a polite and attentive wait staff. A cozy bamboo-accented dining room  that deftly combines traditional tatami style seating with tables creates an ambience that matches the well-executed cuisine.
