Taco Shack has been an Austin fast Tex-Mex favorite since Orlando and Yolanda Arriaga opened the first Shack in 1996. Now six locations serve fresh breakfast tacos in the morning and tasty traditional  Tex-Mex fare at lunch. The north Shack is on Spicewood Springs between MoPac and Mesa. As you might expect, more family members have been enlisted to handle the growth. At breakfast you can build your own taco or order one of the tried and true house favorites. At lunch you can build your own burrito or try a combo. Don't be put off by a drive through line that stretches around the corner.the service is as efficient as the tacos are tasty.
