You'll find a lot of what you'd expect at this conveniently located wine boutique on the street floor of Jefferson Square on 38th Street east of MoPac. A global selection of red, white and sparkling  wines from Texas to Tuscany is combined with an interesting collection of glassware and gifts. First time shoppers and connoisseurs alike will enjoy the casual atmosphere, superb service, wine expertise and tasting bar. Vinosity even serves as the lone U.S. retailer for Annalisa Battuello and her Tenutal Quaranta wines from Italy's Piemonte region. That's what you'd expect from Myrna Sherman's  clever wine nook. What you might NOT expect are gourmet and delicious lunch and dinner meals prepared and served by Executive Chef James Watson, who plied his trade at Central Market, Mars, and Uchi  before joining Myrna at Vinosity. The menus change weekly, but a recent "Small Plate Cuisine" included delicious fresh salads, cheese and bread boards followed by oven roasted quail, truffled beef stew, vegetable risotto and three scrumptious desserts. Live music from time to time, regular wine tastings assisted by wine buyer Hutch Hill, and holiday specials all help make Vinosity a must see destination in Central Austin.
