Tuscany Art in Dining
General Information and Event Planning
Guarantee - A confirmation of the guaranteed number of guests is required by noon, seven business days prior to your event. This number will be considered final and you will be charged accordingly. Otherwise, the number listed on your contract will be considered the final count.
Deposits - 25% of the food and beverage minimum is due upon booking. Refer to the catering contract for additional amount due prior to your event.
Service Charge - a recommended 20% service charge and applicable state and local taxes will be added to all food and beverage charges. Full plate service is available upon request for special pricing.
Cancellations - For parties booked Sunday through Thursday, deposits are refundable up to 60 days prior to your event. If a cancellation occurs within 60 days of the event, the deposit will be forfeited. For parties booked for Friday and Saturday, deposits are refundable up to 90 days prior to your event. If a cancellation occurs within 90 days of the function, the deposit will be forfeited.
Room Minimums - Room charges and layouts are explained at the end of this book. Minimums are set for food and beverages and are outlined accordingly. If minimums are not met, a room rental charge will be added to your total cost. Service charges and taxes do not count toward the minimum total.
Parking - Valet parking and self-parking are available.
Flowers - We will be pleased to assist you with any floral needs you may have for your event.
Customized Menu Cards - We are pleased to design a custom menu card for your special event.
Entertainment - For a dinner dance, reception or cocktail party, we will be pleased to assist in arranging entertainment.
Audio-Visual - We will arrange for AV equipment including a projector, screens, internet-outlet upon request. Advance notification is required and additional charges will apply.
Coat Check - We will arrange for host-sponsored coat check services for your event at current rates, where applicable.
Special Culinary Requests - Tuscany is here to serve you. Please let us know if there are any special requests that we can assist you with. All cancellation refund policy applies.
Contract - Terms & Conditions
Please note the following terms and conditions:
1. Deposit. A confirmation deposit of 25% value of the party is required to secure the function.
2. Cancellation Policy. For parties booked Sunday through Thursday, deposits are refundable up to 60 days prior to your event. If a cancellation occurs with 60 days of the event, the deposit will be forfeited. For parties booked Friday and Saturday deposits are refundable up to 90 days prior to your event. If a cancellation occurs within 90days of the function, the deposit will be forfeited.
3. Minimums. Tuscany has established minimum one day consumption totals of food and beverage for all its banquet function rooms. Host agrees to meet these minimums.
4. Confirmation: Confirmation of guaranteed number of guests is required 7 business days (Monday-Friday) prior to your event. The guaranteed number is not subject to reduction. On the day of the event, if there is a discrepancy in the number of people attending, we shall deem the larger number correct.
5. Menu Selection. We require all menus to be selected a minimum of 14 days prior to the event date. If a special request order is being placed, a 30 day minimum applies. If you have guests with special dietary requirements, please inform us in advance.
6. Payment Terms. Tuscany Art if Dining requires the balance of the event to be paid the day of the event. The credit card number used for deposit is held on file to process through the remaining balance unless alternate card is presented at event.
7. Gratuity. A 20% gratuity charge will be added by Tuscany to all food and beverage charges. Applicable state and local taxes will be applied to the cost of the function, excluding the service charge.
8. Function Room. Should the number of guests attending a food and beverage function differ from the original number quoted. Tuscany reserves the right to provide an alternate function room best suited to the size of the group.
9. Liability. Tuscany reserves the right to inspect and monitor your event and discontinue services to all guests in the case of any violations of applicable laws including alcohol consumption. You will be held responsible for any damage to property or equipment caused by either yourself or your guests. Should Tuscany discontinue service to any or all of your guests, you shall remain liable for all amounts owed. Tuscany assumes no responsibility for any loss or damage to goods, property, and/or equipment brought into the facility by the host or guests.
10. Decorating. The Tuscany Event Coordinator must be consulted regarding any displays or signage to be used on the property by the organizer or guests. Any use of nails, staples, glue or any like material is not allowed on any walls, doors or ceilings. Decoration clean up is the responsibility of the function organizer.
11. Take Home Food. Upon request remaining food will be boxed for the host of the event to use at their discretion.
12. No entertainment or food and beverage of any kind will be permitted to be brought into Tuscany by the Host or his/her guests or invitees without prior written consent from Tuscany management. Failure to secure the written consent of Tuscany can result in denying access or cancellation of function.

Hors D'Oeuvres Descriptions
Roasted Vegetables: Eggplant, zucchini, squash, onions, asparagus and red bell peppers marinated in an Italian vinaigrette and fresh herbs then grilled and cooled, placed on a platter and garnished with rosemary and fresh basil leafs.
Antipasti: Marinated artichoke hearts, olives, red onion, cucumbers and mushrooms presented on a platter and garnished with fresh herbs.
Meat Board: Sliced imported and domestic meats: prosciutto, salami, grilled Italian sausage, imported spanish chorizo, spicy capacoli, roast beef and mortadella, served with fresh assorted breads and crackers.
Cheese Board: Imported and Domestic cheeses: Mozzarella, provolone, blue cheese, gorgonzola, cheddar (smoked). Swiss, sage dury, port sulat, brie, goat cheese and hard cheeses presented on a platter garnished with fruit and berries, served with fresh assorted breads and crackers.
Italian Meatballs: Freshly made Italian meatballs cooked and held in our homemade marinara sauce.
Sausage and Peppers: Italian sausage grilled and served with roasted red bell peppers and onions, served in our homemade marinara (or on the side).
Balsamic Glazed Short Ribs: Short ribs slow cooked and brushed with our own Balsamic glaze.
Fried Mozzarella: Lightly breaded then fried mozzarella served with our homemade marinara sauce.
Stuffed Mushrooms: Crab: Jumbo lump crab mixed with fresh herbs and topped with lemon garlic butter and seasoned breadcrumbs. Meat: Ground pork spiced with Italian seasoning, chopped spinach, cheese and herbed breadcrumbs.
Ravioli: Spinach & Mushroom: served with a rich Alfredo sauce and topped with parmesan cheese or Four cheese: served with marinara sauce and topped with parmesan cheese.
Calamari: Lightly battered and fried calamari served with a roasted garlic aioli and marinara sauce.
Eggplant Rotolos: Lightly grilled eggplant layered with herbed goat cheese cream, thinly sliced prosciutto and fresh basil pesto rolled.
Smoked Shrimp and Herb Crostini: Chopped smoked shrimp mixed with herbed cream and cheeses, served on a garlic crostini.
Salmon Mousse Crostini: Smoke Salmon mixed with herbs, cheeses and cream, served with toasted garlic crostinis.
Stuffed Figs: Seasonal figs stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped with thinly sliced prosciutto.
Shrimp Cocktail: Fresh shrimp poached and served over crushed ice and served with our own Brandy cocktail sauce.
Tomato Bruschetta: Fresh tomato relish served on a toasted garlic crostini and topped with shaved parmesan cheese.
Eggplant napoleons: Slices of fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and lightly breaded then fried eggplant, layered and drizzled with marinara and basil pesto.
Tuscany House Stuffed Shrimp: giant shrimp stuffed with freshly roasted red peppers, smoke Gouda, wrapped with thinly sliced prosciutto and glazed with orange marmalade glaze, served with a remoulade sauce.
Mini Meatballs: Homemade meatballs using the finest meat, herbs and spices. Slow cooked in our homemade marinara sauce.
Crab Cakes: Sweet jumbo lump crab mixed with herbs and spices and lightly breaded, pan-seared and served with a lemon aioli sauce.
Smoked Mozzarella Arincinis: Saffron cooked risotto tossed with smoked mozzarella, rolled then breaded and fried golden brown, served with our homemade Rosa sauce and roasted garlic aioli.
