For more than 10 years Dallasites have been lining up morning, noon and night at the Uptown location of Bread Winners Cafe and Bakery for tasty, freshly prepared food. Breakfast items include dozens of homemade pastries and breads as well as heartier fare like the Farmhouse Scramble - scrambled eggs with potatoes, smoked apple bacon, onions and cheddar cheese. At lunch, hungry diners fill up on gigantic burgers, sandwiches and wraps while at dinner they choose from sophisticated entrees like sesame crusted sea scallops and buttermilk pan roasted chicken breast. The sunny, airy restaurant, which has a pretty indoor garden, is especially popular for Sunday brunch. The no reservation policy at brunch means unless you go early, you'll have to wait. Order a frozen bellini or mimosa to help pass  the time.
