Rose petals strewn across the bathroom floor. Food that not only tastes good but is artfully presented. Waiters who anticipate your every need. Standing outside of Cafe San Miguel, which is situated in a rundown neighborhood just off of North Central Expressway, it is hard to imagine that behind the window bars is a warm, inviting dining venue - the ideal place to enjoy upscale interior Mexican cuisine. The small menu showcases classic Mexican fare like tacos and enchiladas filled with ingredients like achiote citrus marinated pork and pickled red onions. Be sure and order some of the homemade  corn tortillas - they're perfect for mopping up the flavorful sauces. The festive bar is a good place to enjoy the restaurant's signature pomegranate margarita and if you're sick of dirty restaurant  bathrooms, you'll love the brightly-painted ones at Cafe San Miguel - they're spotless.
