Located in the classy Las Colinas area of Irving, Cool River Cafe, an upscale steakhouse and Southwestern grille, serves first-rate steaks and seafood to an attractive, sophisticated crowd. The cavernous restaurant - it's 22,000 square feet - features an elegant dining room flanked by several private dining rooms, an expansive bar area and a plush Cigar and Cognac Lounge. In addition to the usual  steakhouse offerings such as plate-sized porterhouses and sauteed mushrooms, ingredients typical in Southwestern cuisine such as chipotle peppers are featured prominently in menu offerings such as Devil Creek Shrimp and Southwest Bleu Chicken. An extensive wine list features wines by the glass, half-bottle and full bottle, all at reasonable prices. Upscale decor and impeccable service have helped  solidify Cool River as one of the top restaurants in the area.
