At the downtown Dallas location of the family-owned Palm, an upscale steakhouse that first opened in New York City in 1926 that has since spread to dozens of cities across the country, diners enjoy plate-sized steaks, fresh seafood and authentic Italian dishes in a laid-back yet sophisticated setting. The menu includes steakhouse classics like shrimp cocktail, porterhouse steak, chopped sirloin, jumbo Maine lobster and creamed spinach. Other choices include veal marsala, linguine with white clam sauce, and broiled salmon. Service is first-rate and the wine list is beyond impressive. Open for over 20 years, Dallas' Palm has become a favorite of local celebs like Dallas Cowboys legend Emmitt Smith.
